This canoe was originally built by The Chestnut Canoe Company in 1910 and was a mainstay of the Hudson Bay Company for
many years. It has been called the, "WorkHorse of the North." This design was refined by Steve Kiling of: "Yacht
Design" Ontario Canada.
This is an excellent all around boat for recreation or tripping - Very Stable - Capable of heavy loads and very manerable,
can be paddled solo or tandem. Versions in 16' - 17' - 18' available.
